everyone playing their
part to ensure that the horses are kept in the best possible condition.

Emma
Pearson – Head Girl
Emma has worked in eventing for
over 6
years and has spent the last 3 seasons with JP. She is very experienced
especially at international competitions and three day events, and has
incredibly high standards.

Paul Whitehead - 2nd Rider
Former Junior Team member Paul joins JP regularly
to help with some of the riding, bringing with him his own horses for
training. He is aiming for the Under 25's Championships at
Bramham CCI*** with Jump the Q II, following his clear there last year,
and Houghton Hall CCI** with Strathmore High Spirits, with whom he won
the U18 Championships at Chepstow 2005.

Claire
Bennett
Claire joined the team for a year as a competition student before
going off to uni in September 2007 to read psychology. She worked on
the yard and received lots of training and opportunities on her horse
Garrendon Ollie, with whom she completed Weston Park CCI* last
year. Claire writes an online diary for Eventing Worldwide
- "All Work and No Play? The Diary of a Working Pupil"

Sally Williams
Sally was based on the yard with her horse About Thyme before going off
to study Physiotherapy at Nottingham University. She often comes back
for training and to keep JP up to date with paper work, emails and
entries.

Brooke Cleave
(Pixie)
Pixie is currently studying for her A Levels at
Malvern College,
leaving JP to produce her horse Westwinds Bravados (Benji) during the
term
time. In the holidays and any spare weekends she is at the yard
training and competing. Pixie is aiming for the Junior team this year
following Benji's win in Necarne last year.

Guy Sheffield - the name is no coincidence, JP's
farrier is his brother!

Physiotherapists
Chris Caden Parker and Sam Smith make regular visits to the yard.
Vet
John Coope of Chine House Veterinary
Practice has worked with JP for over 10 years and is very experienced
with
competition horses and the challenges that they face in remaining at
peak fitness and health.
