Team Sheffield are having a successful 2011 season so far with some great results with both the up and coming young horses as well as the older more advanced horses.
Riverside James as always showed fabulous form as a late substitution in the CCI2* at Houghton Hall finishing 4th overall jumping an exciting double clear.
The younger horses have moved up to start their novice campaign with Some Spring, Billy Elliott and Sandiman all showing great potential with lots of placings in their first few novice outings.
JP had 2 entries in the 5 year old Lycetts BE Young Horse Champiionship Qualifier at Great Witchingham with SBT Prospector winning the class to qualify for the final and his other entry Trelash also had a successful day finishing 3rd.
As always the advanced sections were full of top class horses at Aston Le Walls last weekend with a tough track. Trescothick finished 8th as did Tass who is now Burghley bound; for Outside Chance one of JP's exciting future propsects it was his first Advanced run and jumped a very impressive double clear to finish 7th overall.
